    Technical collaboration with Link-Belt Corp, United States (currently FMC) for excavators and cranes.
    General domestic sales agent SUMITOMO Construction Machinery Sales Co., Ltd. established as a sales company with a capital of 100 million yen, wholly owned by SUMITOMO Machinery Industries Co., Ltd.

    Start to sale mechanical excavators and mechanical crane trucks under the SUMITOMO-Link Belt brand.
